OPES & Content Standard Workshops

The East Central Ohio ESC is currently offering OPES and Content Standard Workshops.  See below for information on each:

Ohio Principal Evaluation System (OPES)

Participants will learn about the new model Ohio Principal Evaluation System and how to implement it in their schools. The training will include: 1. The components for the Ohio Principal Evaluation System and how to use them. 2. Practice using Principal Standards and the rubric found in the model to determine a principal's performance rating.  3. Determining the professional development or improvement plans for principals.

Common Core & Ohio Standards Workshops

Begin familiarizing yourself to the standards to determine “What Students need to know and be able to do” and begin building your curriculum maps.
